More Cruise Day Pics
Nothing but people as far as the eye could see.
The Husky's Cheerleading Team were doing a demonstration a block away. Every once and a while you would see girls flying up in the air.

The Rambler and the Rogue

The boys finally got the cars out of the garadge. Here are the pictures to prove it! The avid readers of this blog will recognise the bike as the 1973 FLH, but point of interest, the Rambler is the one featured in the jacket of our cd. Lou had to drive it out to the photo shoot on a milk crate as it had no interior. Last time I looked under that hood the motor was smoking, and not in a good way! Lou swaped the motor out for Cam and helped him get the interior done just in time for the show. He also did a good job on his own AMC Rogue
So we had a girl buy a cd and t-shirt but insisted that she get's her pic taken in front the classic Rambler, as on the cd.
I think Lou just finished pinching her butt...Here is the Rogue.....yep which one, the drummer or the car...
Lou leave those girls alone! Not sure how he does it, but I think drummers always have the luck with the ladies.

....or it's all the liquor Lou tends to have......"Let's here it for Liquor Drinks!!"
Then again, not all the girls Lou meets are smok'in........well this one is definatley smokin some thing.....

Oh boy....that's why all the liquor drinks...
Cruise Day 2006

CKOM, FM 103 & Rawlco Radio hosted the 24th annual cruise day again with yet another sucsessful turn out. This high profile event has grown to be a destination spot for the city of Saskatoon, and the biggest in the province. Of course when it comes to these kind of events, you would want tunes that work with the scene, and that's where we come in! We have been fortunate to have played this event for a number of years now and we couldn't be happier about that. The event is always well planned with great production (those Barn Dog guys again) and radio station staff that are a blast to work with!

We were also fortunate to have gotten help selling cd's from some good looking girls who worked hard all day to make sure anyone who wanted a cd or T-shirt was looked after.
This is Carolyn who is also on the cd, as one of the "bar girl" voices at the end of "Filthy Groove"
"The Kittens" taking a break

Nancy and Crissy working the booth. Nancy has done a terrific job making the signs & posters and is a driving force behind the "merch" sales.
Crissy drove in from Moose Jaw (yea these are real places) to hang out with us and was a terrific help, then again it's nice just to see that smile
Sherri & Jack dropped by to see how things were going. Sherri is the other "Bar girl" voice on "Filthy Groove" Looks like Jack is enjoying the tunes, or it's gas....

CD Review featured in #18 November issue of "Old Skool Rodz"

You got to check out the November issue of Old Skool Rodz, cause were in it! On page 76 in the section "Kar Tunes" we are one of three albums reviewed for the issue.
John JC Carollo had some great things to say, ...nice enough to make Cam blush.
This magazine rocks plain and simple! We have been buying this rag for years now looking for that all insipring shot of a cool old car...like a AMC Rogue, so to have us mentioned is truly an honor. This is the one to look for!

Coldrawkrecords pick up distribution
We got an interesting email from a girl in Toronto who ordered our cd from a "major retail" cd giant. She said it took over four weeks to have them deliver the album. Two days later some low life broke to her car and stole all her cds. So she sends us an email asking if we can help her replace this faster. Well this would be the way. Check these guys out! http://www.coldrawkrecords.com/
