Year Four at the A&W Cruze Weekend Show and Shine

The fine people from the A&W here on 22nd street put on another successful  "Cruising the Dub" night, where we were fortunate to play at again.  A&W hosts a show and shine in the back lot while raising money for M.S.  Every time some one buys a Teenburger, they donate $1.00 to the M.S. Society.  So it's a "win / win" for everyone because who doesn't like Teenburgers??  ( I love the way those pickles compliment the burger... yummm).  They sold Root Beer Floats for $2 and auctioned off hard to get A&W swag with the money all going to the cause.  Clem figured that we could take requests for $5 a tune to help sweeten the pot.  This turned out to be a blast as we were pulling tunes out of the deepest, darkest parts of our beaten and abused craniums...to the tune of a couple hundred bucks! (Lot's of people paid more than $5, and Surfin Bird probably raised about $25 on it's own... Lou sings the crap out of that one...)
On another note, the kids who worked there did a great job.  Some of them even hanging around after their shifts to help out.  You don't see that much dedication anymore so a big "way to go" to the crew!
