Winter sucks... let's go West!

Part of the Canadian experience, whether you like it or not is winter. For those of you who don't experience this first hand just think what those burgers feel like in your deep freeze. Now imagine your butt that cold as you try to start your pick up truck with the frozen dead battery, boosting it with what ever juice is left from the next thing close enough to hook the cable on to. (Tractor / motorbike / sled /wife's vibrator) . Keep in mind that it is 8:00am, your probably late for work. It is still pitch black (cause you only get a couple hours of daylight in this cold frozen forsaken land) while your fingers can barley move to grip the ignition key. Finally it fires, only to find the heater core is blown, the tires are frozen flat on one side and the steering fluid is so thick your steering wheel won't turn. Worst part is you realize that it is only November and it doesn't get really cold until January.
The only thing you can do to keep your sanity over the period of time known to us as the six month ice age is to embrace mother nature with a slap on the ass. That means putting on your ski gear and head to the mountains.
We managed to wrangle a little tour that will take us through the resort towns of Canmore (Alberta) and Furnie (B.C.) where well stay until New Years Eve for a week of spice Rum and Rockabilly. So if your anywhere near the Drake Hotel in Canmore between Christmas and New Years, or at the Park Place Lodge drop in and say hello. Well be the ones passed out by the fire!

Coming soon, "Bet's are down to see if Lou breaks his leg" -stay tuned!
