Winter stir crazy... again
So here we are in February in what we call the “dead of winter”. It’s been a cold brutal one this year as temperatures stayed around -30 for about six weeks.
I came home one night in December after we played a gig at around 2:30 in the morning. It was -28 with a serious wind chill. It was so cold that the lube that is used on the truck box gate froze so my tail gate wouldn’t close. As I pull up to my house I notice some one is parked in front of the place. It turns out it is the renter from next door. This guy pulled ahead to where I had my block heater cord and decided to help him self to my plug in. He even went as far as to walk into my yard and make sure the cord was actually plugged into the house at the other end. I typically don’t plug in the other end unless I plan to use it.
I guess the cold must have frozen some brain cells too.
I can’t wait until summer so we can get back to the back yard sports like BBQ and shooting guns…..
